Getting Around San Jose del Cabo and Los Cabos
Directions to our Condo at La Costa condominiums
By Airport Shuttle or Taxi: Request transportation to La Costa Condominiums (Club La Costa) across from the Hotel Solaris. Reservations must be made at least 24 -48 hours prior to your arrival in San Jose.
By Car: Take the Main Hwy leaving the airport to the right and follow the signs to San Jose del Cabo taking the Transpeninsular Hwy 1 South. Travel approximately 7 miles and turn left towards the Hotel Zone and San Jose del Cabo via the traffic circle at the large yellow monumental structure (you will see the Mega Store on the left) on to Paseo de Los Cabos. At the very end make a left on to Paseo Malecon San Jose. Travel approximately a ½ mile and make left at La Costa Condominiums (the Hotel Crowne Plaza & the Hotel Royal Solaris will be on the right).
By Private Transport: Our property manager can make arrangements for round trip transportation if requested in advance. Please inquire about current rates.
Bus Transportation
Local buses (Urbanos) travel the main road in front of our complex and are very inexpensive for the budget minded traveler. They will stop for you anywhere along their route, just give a wave. Make sure to let the driver know where you want to go, so you know you're on the right bus.
On the Transpenninsular Hwy there are buses (Subur Cabo) that go between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas every 20 minutes and are very inexpensive and comfortable. They will make stops anywhere along the corridor to and from Cabo San Lucas.
Taxis and Rental Cars
Taxis are also available on the main road in front of our complex and you will find them lined up in front of the Hotel Solaris.
If you decide you'd like a rental car during your stay and did not get one at the airport the nearby hotels have those such as Avis, National, Budget, and Dollar Rental Car.
